Goal Hangovers, The Three-Way Balance and Librarian Fantasies
Who are you, sister? Tell us a little about yourself.
Hi sisters! I’m Nicole: Wife, Mama and Money Coach.
Wife: I met my sweet husband in college and we have been married five years. We both work from home these days, he is my partner in building our life with intention.
Mama: I had my son Caden in July 2015. Motherhood has been a rollercoaster ride so far! I work on my business while I’m watching him, so I like to call myself a nap-time hustler.
Money Coach: One day I was sitting in my fancy corporate cubicle about to cry and googled “Life Coach Seattle.” Guess who popped up – Miss Molly Mahar of course! That was 2012, when I took one of Molly’s courses which led me into the personal development/online business world. Fast forward to today, I quit the corporate gig and do the work I love that fits into my ideal lifestyle. It gives me the opportunity to help people and gives me the flexibility that I craved for my life.
Last year we moved from the city of Seattle up north to Bellingham, WA. Being able to make the move was proof that we were designing our life the way we wanted to. We are surrounded by the ocean and trees, have time to enjoy them and are trying to figure out what comes next.

What does practicing joy mean to you? Practicing joy means fighting the battle to put myself and my needs first, so I can show up as a better version of myself in my life.
Biggest life lesson you’ve learned lately? In 2015 I had a baby, moved, and quit my corporate job. It was great and it was years in the making. But after reaching all those goals, I have had a goal hangover. Trying to figure out how my new life works and what comes next. My lesson in this is that it takes time to adjust to changes, even really good ones and we have to give ourselves space to do that.
What’s your definition of success? Equal parts mama, business owner and wife.
Name 3 things from your Life List that light you up.
This year I want to 1) Plant a garden. I can’t wait to try my hand and growing fresh veggies in my backyard. 2) Go on a girls weekend (this one just got booked!!) 3) Grow my business. As my son grows I’m finding more space and energy to put back into my business, I’m excited to see it start to blossom this year.
What do you do when life gets messy? When life gets messy, I have to go back to the basics. For me the basics are quiet time to read, think and get realigned with my life.

What are you doing in an alternate universe? I’m a librarian. Its a job that has always been in the back of my brain as something I think I would truly love. I’m sure in an alternate universe i’m living out this (not so secret) dream.
