Hi! I’m Krystle! An Apartment Peddler by day and aspiring Massage Therapist by night. You could say I am an empathetic introvert who loves people, which makes social outings always a tough choice.
I am a soulful singer, a Grammy Award winner’s Granddaughter, a Wannabe Hippie, An Auntie of 8, a reforming codependent, a canine and feline Mommy, a Geek Lover, a woo woo convert and Stratejoy junkie.

Favorite Compliment? My best friend once told me that I love and adore the people in my life like I am their fan. The way someone would be a fanatic for their favorite celebrity or band. I treat my loved ones with that same adoration. It still moves me that she sees me that way.
What does practicing joy mean to you? I am a serial pessimist. I took the test…its true. That awful negative voice had always taken center stage and narrated my life with wild abandon. When I found Molly and Stratejoy 7 years ago I was tired of that life. So I immediately signed up for the Joy equation and gobbled up every single blog post. Knowing it was “oookaayy” to be down and that there were tangible ways to get better was so life saving. Practicing joy isn’t just a bubble bath and some chocolates (which I indulge in..ALOT) it is freeing myself from the guilt of not being the codependent daughter anymore. It is saying “No” when I don’t want to do something…and not feeling badly about it. It is not letting the negative feelings overtake me. Giving them their space and then letting them go. I know I can and will do more to become joyful and that one day I will take the test in “Learned Optimism” and it will lean towards Optimist. But right now practicing JOY for me, means allowing myself the freedom to be a pessimist who loves deeply and fully and FUCKING LOVES those silver lining moments when they happen.
Biggest Life Lesson Lately? I watched a TED talk titled “The Person You Should Be Marrying”. I thought I’d get a blue-print for picking the right guy next time. Instead this woman went on to describe self-love in a way I had never thought of before. She said that we should be making those vows to ourselves. Honor, Love, Cherish etc. For better or Worse…For Richer For Poorer. And in that moment I envisioned myself uplifting my own spirits when I failed. I saw hugging myself after a night with my ex that shouldn’t have happened. And becoming a partner to myself instead of succumbing to the divisive negativity that has often broken my spirits. So I bought myself a ring and said “Yes” to commiting to love myself in the way I hope to love my future husband. It hasn’t been easy…but what love is?!

The career that will come from my desire to be a self-care advocate. Whether that is Life Coaching/Retreat Planning or some variation. I’m thrilled to see living life on my terms is in the not so distant future.
What’s your definition of success? LIVING. Like real life, ALL IN living. I know that I am still working on that, but to be an active member in your world is a powerful thing. No longer letting life happen to you. Add in a heaping helping of Kindness and a Whole Lotta Love and that is Success to me.

“What do you love most about yourself?” and “What is the trait you most want to improve in yourself?”
I have learned (and am still learning) that sometimes the very things that you believe to be the “worst” parts of you are those facets that become what you love most. I have always been a sensitive dreamer. I would be affected by situations and lash out in negative ways and then beat myself for ‘Feeling’. I now know that all of this means that I am an empath who feels very deeply. So deeply, in fact, that it often equates to physical pain.
And you know what?
I LOVE THIS ABOUT MYSELF.
It means that I experience life in a very real and honest way. I love with unabashed frenzy and fullness. However, this doesn’t mean I don’t struggle. So this year my theme word is INTRINSIC and with that I am focusing on honing in on my true nature and settling the ego. Learning that with Love and stillness my Empathy and overflowing heart can be a superpower for good.
